This is a fantastic antique ~ little "Frenchie" French Bulldog wearing a jaunty cap ~ very collectible Clothes Brush/Whisk Brush with it's own leather storage case. I believe that the head is celluloid and most likely made between 1900-1920's. There are no identifying marks that I can find on the whisk brush, but the snap on the leather case is stamped U.S.F. which stands for the United States Fastener Company. USF merged with the Carr to create United Carr in 1929, so this predates 1929. It also has a woven ribbon around it's neck for hanging on a hook in a closet and the ribbon shows age and use. The snap on the case works perfectly. It is in excellent condition considering it's age.
