The story behind the sleeve:
Massachusetts, Great Woods, July 3, 1991. I'm sitting in section 2 probably in row D. My ticket stub is a little worn so I can't see the exact original seat. Anyway, the audience was rowdy and enthusiastic as usual at a Morrissey show and I managed to climb over seats until I got to second row center. At some point all hell broke loose and tons of people jumped on stage and tore at Morrissey's clothes. I was about to go up when his shirt came flying into the pit. I grabbed the sleeve and a guy near me grabbed the rest. I remember the pain of my fingernails bending while I fought to hold on to the sleeve. I screamed for my friend to help me and her response was to tickle the guy. Yes, tickle him so he would let go. He laughed, but he didn't budge. Eventually the shirt split and I got the sleeve. No idea where the rest of it is today.
The sleeve has been in this frame with my ticket stub for 30 years.

I'm including the T-shirt I bought at the show. It's no longer pristine white, now tinged with a bluish hue from washing and there's a stain on the bottom (pictured).
